ya'll stay safe in the h

You got some names, ima hit some up next time I ride thru south Louisiana

Don's Specialty Meats, Billy's Boudin and Cracklin and The Best Stop Supermarket in Scott LA, right outside of Lafayette.

Billy's Boudin is the best. Down to my last two boxes. Billy's on the 190 in krotz springs best boudin balls.

Got some Billy's in the freezer.

Found a spot near Houston called Bayou Boys Po Boys, cat who runs the restaurant is one of them country ass Cajun from south Louisiana. He makes his own boudin. Stuff is legit, it won best link at the festival in Beaux Bridge. I keep it stocked in my freezer, he makes a spicy batch with Ghost Peppers and Habanero

It has been a while since I visited this store. Next time I'm home, I will have to make that drive to Frontage Rd.

Last week on returning feom Htown after the Wayne/HotBoyz concert, I told my
peeps to stop. He luv boudin but been thru. I gave him a pack of party links before.

So we stopped, I got two links he didn’t get anything.
So once on the road I asked him if he got something, he didn’t.
I asked if he wanted a sample, he said just a small piece. Dude said, “Man that shit hitting”

I told him, my crew know one thing for certain if we coming from Texas, we stopping at Don’s.

So this pass weekend we went back to Texas but to watch Colorado be BYu in San Antonio.
When we got to Htown, dude asked me if that spot open. I said’ “bro they don’t pass up any money”

He was like man they probably gonna be closed by the time we get there…
I quickly said naw, they gonna be open to 6pm.

So we made it in time, he got two links and I got two…
I asked his son if he wanted a sample, “he was like naw I’m straight”
After he listened to a few of our comments, he said “yea I want piece, y’all making it sound good”

he eat that shit so fast, his pops asked if he wanted his other link, dude quickly said “man that was good, yea I’ll eat it”

When we exited I show them Billy’s
he’s son was like “man look at all of those cars”

I was like “it’s always like that, not many folks pass that spot up to go to Don’s but I do”

Billys Boudin and Cracklins. Lafayette. Best I've had. And I have a lot.

Once me and Ms. Mask did a side by side taste test…

Billy wasn’t horrible but Don’s was it for me.
She said “l know why you like Don’s it’s more meaty”

Billy is good like a B and Don’s is a A

That’s from TX, seem like it said Medville, TX

The restaurant is in Needville, bout 30 minutes outside houston down 59 south.

Dude moved from south Louisiana to work in oil and gas, but ended up opening a restaurant. The boudin is legit. None of that overly ricey TX boudin. His competes with Don's and Billy's. Won best boudin at the Louisiana boudin festival.

Fa sho fam. Heading that way this weekend. I will check Don's out.

I'm going to try making my own next week. Shipping is way too expensive to get to NY.

The Best Stop in Scott has the best boudain and cracklings.
Don's is a tourist spot.
The local folks don't shop there.
