The level of musicianship was simply too high, and why this mighty
institution had to disband in 1983 is a mystery and a crime...And
Nzaya Nzayadio was the lead vocalist...

From the masterpiece album "LES DERNIERS SUCCES DE LIPUA LIPUA VOL.1"
featuring the mesmerising solo guitar of Lusuama Aspro and the intoxicating
rythm of Prof Vata Mombasa"

The mighty Orch Lipua Lipua... If this band produced a band song, I do not
know it...Only in African music do we shout out the name of the solo guitarist,
and early in the song, and several times later on, Nzaya Nzayadio shouts "Lusuama"
and just before the sebene when as the solo guitar breaks out, he says "Yoka eloko
oyo" meaning "hear that issue"... Referring to the solo guitar of the master..

1970s Lipua Lipua featuring Nyboma, Nzaya Nzayadio on vocals
and the grand master of guitar Ley Mongo himself on solo...of
course prof Vata Mombasa was on rythm...
