Did you watch? Why or why not?
What did you think of the visuals? Song content? Spoken word?

Was it an ode to Black women?

First let me say it was marketing genius, I am not a huge Beyonce fan by any means but she definitely knows how to get that money.
I loved the spoken word portion I had to look up the poet Warsan Shire if you haven't checked her out please do. As for the songs there were only a few I actually liked.
I loved that visually it was mostly black women portrayed.

i agree....its a marketing ploy

no, i haven't listened to it or watched any part of it.

i was on twitter with it dropped and the days after....smh at the comments.

Because either she is putting her personal life out in the streets or making up the whole tale for attention/album sales. What happen to all the other sentiments she had from previous albums?

Twitter is where the battle of men vs women has moved to. Its very apparent on black twitter. What I didnt see was anyone saying why She didnt come out and say if its all true or just her songs. If they are still together. If she forgave him for whatever he did. Now that the excitement has died down you really dont even hear about the topic in detail anymore. She has yet to do an interview that explains any parts of it.

Haven't seen it but I don't think I could watch it in its entirety. Let me catch a video here, and a video there...

I truly am not a big fan of her music. Not hating, just not my thing. Solange on the other hand...
