Someone recommend a remote car starter.

Make sure it's a 2 way remote starter. Python, Viper & Avital & a few others are all made by the same company Directed Electronics.

Just find the one with the best buy. My advice is to buy it off of Amazon with the Bypass module as it will cost around a 100 bucks itself.

You can get the bypass module for less than half that on Amazon. I bought both of these for $229 & got it installed at a local car stereo outfit for $140

It's a $600 2-way remote start/security system by itself. Search Amazon for.... It's 2 bucks more now than what I paid 2 months ago. It works great & the range is amazing!

Viper 5706V 2-Way Car Security with Remote Start System

Directed Electronics DB3 All-in-One Door Lock & Override Module

Avital 3305l 3305l Responder 2-way Security System With 4-button Lcd Remote

To me it better to have the one with the image of the car that way u dnt have to guess whether or not the remote actually started the car... its confirmed!

Buy a car with a remote starter.... aftermarket voids your warranty.. if you still have one.
In a lot of cases this is true unless u go to the dealer recommended place which i did for my car.. it did cost me a few dallors more but i feel that i did get what i wanted!

Not necessarily. I had mine installed by Bestbuy’s Geek Squad. Both them and the Infinity dealer assured me that having them install it will not void my warranty unless they damage something during the install or as a result of the install. The tech and the paperwork told me that if by some off chance something is damaged due to his install it will be covered by Geek Sqaud.

Bro...Unless they have some kind of agreement with BB, I can guarantee you that what they said isnt true. In theory, yes but if something electrical goes wrong and the dealership you go to are crooks, they'll find a way to blame it on the remote key unit you got from BB. I always ask the "advisor" to show me where tf it says that or put it in writing with his name.

The Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act protects customers against dealers trying to void a warranty due to putting on aftermarket parts. The key is to make sure who installs it is legit. As long as you do that there should be no issues.

Yeah my car came with the OnStar Remote. I like it because not only can you remote start using the key fob but there's also an app for your phone that lets you do the samething. Since it has been cold I use the app to start my car when i'm getting off work and by the time I ge to my car its already warm inside. I Googled it to see if it can be bought and installed but didn't see anything
