Hey! Where were you? How ya doing?
I think, given my personality, I have never had an experience where I totally disliked or felt the urge to compete with another black woman I worked with or dealt with. Generally, I don't try to make friends with anyone I work with, but am cordial and friendly with all. Most people (male and female) are pulled towards me because I'm so easygoing. Personally, I don't understand the concept of one woman/person "hating" on another... to me, someone will always feel like they have the up on you or are better than you at something. Don't give them the privilege of bringing you down, cause it comes from their own insecurities...![]()
And we don't want them over here messing things up and bringing their fan club members over here.

Damn. You are so right about this. I have one good black female friend and we have been best friends since middle school. She lives in another state. Black women are threatened by the most silly things. If they think you look better, your hair is longer, you get more attention from men, etc. It's pathetic. I am not hateful toward other black women, but most of them really seem to hate me. They hate me before I even open my mouth to speak. It's as if they are looking for reasons to be hateful. I don't let it bother me because some things are just inexplicable. Don't waste your time trying to figure it out, because whatever the answer is, it won't make a damn bit of sense.
