Why do some woman say:
"I don't have female friends
or all of my friends are men
or even woman can't be my friend because they are jealous of me"
and wev'e all heard this one "she think she cute hmmm."
Why is it that everytime another black woman comes around the other one feels threatened. :angry:
For instince, when I first started working at my job there was a girl there who was there before me and when I came I tried to be as polite as i could to her and all she would do is give me attitude, make faces behind my back ect.... For what ? i never met her in my life that was uncalled for.:confused: The funny thing is she would talk to the white girls and treat them respectfully. I thought it was because she wasn't gettin no love from the fellas anymore until a new black girl came after me and again I smiled i was polite to her and all i got was dirty looks and indirect disses. And she did the same thing befriend the white girls. (Nothing wrong with white friends I have one:D) A lot of females can choose to pretend they don't know what I'm talking about but a lot of yall do.This is an on going thing whether I'm in a store or in a club...... Why are some of us that fucked up that we can show everybody else more love than we can show oursevles:hmm:

Damn. You are so right about this. I have one good black female friend and we have been best friends since middle school. She lives in another state. Black women are threatened by the most silly things. If they think you look better, your hair is longer, you get more attention from men, etc. It's pathetic. I am not hateful toward other black women, but most of them really seem to hate me. They hate me before I even open my mouth to speak. It's as if they are looking for reasons to be hateful. I don't let it bother me because some things are just inexplicable. Don't waste your time trying to figure it out, because whatever the answer is, it won't make a damn bit of sense.
 
I am here to engage in discussion about real issues. That's what I like about this site. You talk about real shit................I just wanna know?:yes: I am a real black woman who recognizes and experiences these things. No disrespect intended If we can't talk about stuff like this just let me know.
 
Professionally, I feel like there are so few of us that we go along being the token black woman. And then there are even fewer black men, so we are "THE token black" too. So then here comes another black woman and you're not the only one any more. That "coveted" position is in jeopardy and the woman feels the need to show out.

Most women I know who make this statement have a valid reason. They are tired of the cattiness that a lot of women show, especially when men are involved. A couple of the women here on the board are just like that. Whenever the attention of these men is turned onto a new woman, the old woman will hate on the new woman. Who would want to be friends with a woman like that?

I don't believe it is. If you have been on the receiving end of this you know exactly what she's talking about. I have nothing but love for most black women, but there is definitely a hateful attitude amongst many of us.

I know what you mean I have a family full of women they has plenty of stories about this particular subject.

But I agree with femme. I don't think that this poster is a women.
 
Well you can best believe they don't have my IP address... If I was a ftp i would go to a ftp site..... I'm not looking for that I have a man I luuuuuvvvv and I'll admit I am a freakkkkk:D But I just want to know because I think this issue is deeper than you know.. I am only scratching the surface....

I agree that the topic is deeper than what we may think it is but that's one of the first lessons I learned about life and people.

I'am a quite dude in public. When i was in school i just went to class said "what up" to my classmates cracked a joke or two chilled with my friends and did my school work. I do the exact same thing at work but it's always atleast two people who aren't very fond of me for some odd reason. I don't pay them any mind. That's just life people don't always mesh. Pay them no attention and just keep it moving.
 
If a MOD, who can see IPs, can match up the poster IP, which is pretty much unique, to one other ID which is known to be a TP and several other banned/suspect ones, then I think you can make the accusation.

anyway as for the thread topic, all of we black women here on SOL get along very well and have lots of fun. there are a couple of hater women on the board but they don't come over here this side.
