it's the best way to disarm a person intelligently. i use it all the time. i even started to use it with my first born who's 7 to get him to think critically and not just blurt stuff out of his mouth. and i must say i used it a lot last year before the elections questioning people, especially black people who said they were gonna vote for trump. that's when i realized how stupid most of them were. i mean i was in awe at the sheer stupidity in the form of responses that i was getting from folks.
