Do most Americans not like soccer because we have a short attention span?

Also, football (soccer for Americans) has been around a lot longer than American football. So why didn’t Americans name American football something else or as just “American football” instead of “football” which was named already in Europe?

Wouldn't most Americans find American football boring if it lacked a More..ll those commercial breaks?

It's because we don't give a flying fuck about Europe or any other region outside of these United States.

No. Soccer is boring because it hinges on a bunch of 5 foot something 160lb. boys in long stockings running around aimlessly in a cow pasture for 90 god damn minutes. And all you get for wasting an hour and a half of your life is a lousy ass 1 - 0 score.

Another reason that soccer will never ever catch on here is the predominance of basketball in the ghetto. The Anemic white suburban kids whose mommies, too afraid to let them play a real sport, push them into soccer are never going to be stars who could capture the American imagination.

Why would u call a sport ''Football'' if
A there already exists a worldwide sport with the same name
B 99 percent of the time u carry the ball with your hands
?

By the way....all over the world we talk about ''football'' and ''American Football'' as opposed to ''soccer'' and ''football''.


Face it..soccer is the biggest sport in the world by far.
American Football is just rugby with a lot of pussyass bodyprotection and a lot of commercial breaks!
