Dude looks in great shape for a change..i wonder at times who would have won in their prime Toney vs B-hop in that fight i would have picked Toney. IMO the only thing that messed up Toney was his lack of conditioning at times..that and him taking people lightly...like he did when he met Roy Jones Jr. B-hop and Toney always had skills..Toney's plus was he has/had KO power in either hand. Expert at the shoulder roll just like Pretty Boy Floyd.
I use to whup his ass in Fight Night all the time!!!
Dude is a beast though. He gave me a few good fights down to decision but once I captured the belt
But reality Toney is one of the best pound for pound.ANY BODY who gets in the ring with him is gonna get a good workout

Former three division champion James "Lights Out" Toney (77-6-3, 44KOs) is promising to punish cruiserweight Denis Lebedev (22-1, 17KOs) on November 4th at the Khodynka Ice Palace in Moscow, Russia. Speaking with reporter Alexander Pavlov, Toney promised to crush the hopes of the up and coming Lebdev and cripple his career. He doesn't believe will be able to sustain the punishment for too long.
"I'll break Lebedev physically and mentally. I'm not sure how much he will take. Maybe [it's over] in four rounds. All these young guys, boxers on the rise, with whom I fought, I destroyed," Toney said.
"I'm very serious about this fight. If I fight someone, I want to destroy him. Both mentally and physically. So much so, that the last two or three years, other boxers simply refuse to fight me, thinking that I'm too dangerous. And yet they say I'm old and fat. But if I am, punish me for it! Lebedev, after what he did with Roy Jones - is one of the best boxers in this division."

I hope my man Lights Out, puts on another excellent display of skills like he did against Vassily Jirov for the Cruiserweight title a while back. I hope him and Bernard fight too. That will be a great chess match between two master technicians. JT comes out with the win in the end I think though.
I think B Hop v. Toney is a good match up if Toney still looks like Toney.

It was sad to watch. I don't know if it was the rapid weight loss (60 lbs.) or extreme shot-ness. His balance and footwork were terrible. He'd throw a punch and damn near fall after missing the target.

I try my best not too, but unfortunately I do it every time.
i really wanted the ref to stop it or at least lebedev force a stoppage...idk if he was just too slow or showed him too much respect but james should've been stopped
I saw the last three rounds on youtube. It was weird because Toney got dominated worse than Roy Jones but Jones was the one that got knocked out so it's hard to say which ending was worse. Jones was more competitive but ended up nearly decapitated.
Toney has been pitching for a fight with B-Hop damn all these old heads need to hang 'em up....
