It's been reported that they have received security briefings that this is the case tho. That the government is openly saying it is Russia, that the POTUS is saying this is Russia, means it is Russia. I don't think Obama would say that just to give Hillary an advantage, and I don't think they would give Hillary and Trump briefings to that effect if it weren't true.
What's disturbing to me is Trumps praise for Putin. He seems protective of Putin and Russia's reputation.
They are saying Russia without actually saying Russia did it.
Evidence points to possible Russian involvement ect ect.
When the US hacked Germany they brought it straight out with no hesitation and made the US apologize and admit it.
During the last debate I didn't see him praise Putin I saw him say if the US and Russia got along that would be great. That nobody knows if Russia hacked.
The commentator dude made him answer if Russia did it would he denounce it and he said absolutely.
Obama made Hillary Secretary of State to give her an advantage...
On Russian hacking connection, the U.S. isn't as sure as Clinton says it is

“What is really important about WikiLeaks is that the Russian government has engaged in espionage against Americans. They have hacked American websites, American accounts of private people, of institutions. Then they have given that information to WikiLeaks for the purpose of putting it on the internet. This has come from the highest levels of the Russian government. Clearly from Putin himself in an effort, as 17 of our intelligence agencies have confirmed, to influence our election.” — Hillary Clinton
Hillary Clinton here is slightly stretching what the Obama administration said when it officially
blamed Russia for deploying its hackers to meddle with the U.S. election.
Clinton is correct that “17 of our intelligence agencies” have accused Russia of orchestrating a digital campaign that has hit top U.S. political institutions like the Democratic National Committee and the DCCC.
“The Russian Government directed the recent compromises of emails from U.S. persons and institutions, including from US political organizations,” said the
joint statement from the Department of Homeland Security and the Office of the Director of National Intelligence.
But the Obama administration only said that “Russia's senior-most officials” directed the digital assault, not necessarily Russian President Vladimir Putin himself. For his part, Putin has denied any hand in the hacks.
The former secretary of state also slightly exaggerates the connection that intelligence officials have publicly made between the alleged Russian hackers and WikiLeaks.
While the intelligence community said that leaks earlier this year from WikiLeaks were “consistent with the methods and motivations of Russian-directed efforts,” it has not directly tied the recent WikiLeaks release of Clinton campaign chair John Podesta’s personal emails to Russia. When Clinton made these remarks during the debate, she was responding to a question on the content of the Podesta leaks.
However, investigators are
reportedly leaning toward Russia as the primary suspect in the Podesta dump.
