Russia has the largest land mass and population in Europe. And the most natural resources as Africa, which is possibly the reason why they never attempted to colonize Africa.

I'm not capeing just sharing info

This is true. Hitler also hoped if Italy was bogged down in ethiopia Mussolini would have no choice but to ally with Germany. Little known fact, Mussolini never liked Hitler and actually proposed a plan in the 30s with england and france to invade Germany. Before hitler got too strong. Imagine how different the world would be if that happened.
