So Jordan is gonna be a 99 at everything on 2k11 right?

I'm sure Kobe will out beat jordan as well as others in some attributes. Which ones can you live with. I know most of yall think the nigga should be a 99 at everything but speak.

Who knows.

I am really torn between getting NBA Elite or 2K11. Fuck it I'll fuck with 2K11 this year, and maybe Elite next year when they really improve more of the mechanics of the new game engine and game play on Elite.

nba elite?? never heard of it!... NBA 2K all day though!

Offensive Awareness, Defensive Awareness, Steal, Ball Handling, and Hands should be a 99. Everything else should range from 82 (3-pointers) and above...

Steal shouldn't be a 99 unless Stocktons and pippens are too. His 3 should be a 75.

Kobe better have a better three then mj and a better range at 3 then mj. And almost as good triple threat.

The way I see it.

Inside shooting - 97
Close shooting - 95
Medium Range - 95
3pt - 80
Layup - 95
Dunk - 96
FT Shooting - 89
Ball Handle - 95
Off hand handle - 93
Low Post OFF 95
Low Post DEF - 85
Hands 99
Steal 90
Block - 65
OFF Awareness - 99
Def Awareness - 95

3pt is too high... Unless you are judging from that year the NBA moved the 3pt line to 22 feet

That won' matter.

it's his tendencies that'll make the most difference.

You can be a 99 in 3pt shooting - but your tendency to take them could be 10.

realistic. you can hit the 3 when you take it, but you don't take it often.

On Ball defense I'd put at 95. Only cuz I'd put Pip at 99. Pip was the cat guarding the number 1.

That was because it didn't make sense for Jordan to guard the other teams main guy for the entire game and have Jordan waste even more energy on defense.

Bottom line is you don't win 6 championships without a GREAT big man unless your perimeter guys are phenomenal defenders. Who they guarded is irrelevant IMO. Just because Ron Artest guarded the other teams primary scored doesn't take away the fact that Kobe is a great defender.

Jordan and Pip's defense are 99 IMO.

Check what I said below your post.

He could hit threes at a high percentage, but he didn't take three's like that.

So his tendency would be to post up, shoot mid range, close range, drive the lane, then three pointers.

come on jordan wasnt a 99 at everything, his ball handle isnt a 99 i'd say like a 83-85

def rebounds off rebounds, blocks, speed, quickness, not 99

hell even his 3pt is a 84 at best

the only thing i'd give him a 99 at is close range, mid range, dunks, off awareness, def awareness like a 98, hustle, durability

Is hangtime, agility, quickness and cluth not a attribute anymore?

Then what should kobe's on ball defense be?

Jordan is a better on ball defender than Kobe. I thought that was common knowledge. Kobe's on ball defense on 2k10 is a 84.

But, in all fairness, we have to be talking about the same Mike. His strength and weaknesses vary so greatly over the arc of his career.

It is, i just didn't want to go down the whole list.

There's three iterations of Jordan though.

I can't wait, because the first thing I'll try to do is unlock jordan for the career mode.

C/S

dunks and layups 99, speed/quickness 95, strength 90+ (he benched 300)

Benched 300 when he bulked up and went to washington. He wasn't lifting 300 like that his whole career. When he got big and went to dc is when he was like dat

I respect your opinion but let me make two points. This isn't a 99 handle?

Mike could do whatever he wanted to do with the basketball(legally and illegally). Just because he didn't cross niggas over all the time, doesn't mean he didn't have one of the sickest handles ever. Same with shooting three's. Mike could shoot them, he just choose not to do it often due to him being so efficient.

I read in one of his books that he had a basic philosophy for averaging over 30ppg. 8 points per quarter. He said he would focus on getting 3 layups and 2 free throws per quarter. Anything after that was a bonus. He made it sound so easy.

NBA Live is now NBA Elite.

They have revamped the game play mechanics and maybe using a new game engine. The one NHL Live uses.

sounds good bruh.. i might check it out.. im gonna look for a trailer in a minute ... but im coppin NBA 2K mos def.. i dont really fck with EA sports games nemore

Jordan should be the only nigga with some 100s on that bitch, that'd be some official/exclusive shit that'll separate the G.O.A.T from the rest.

I stand corrected, I forgot about the tendency rating.

Well if that's the case u could make a strong arguement that ben wallacwe 3pt shot should be a 75 because they said he could knock then bitches down in practice. I'm fine with a 82 but confidence (if that's a attribute) should be 99 and secretly higher.

nah ... he wasn't a 99 at everything ...

if we talkin' jordan .. in his prime ... offensive awareness, layups, inside scoring, jumping, dunking, quickness, agility, toughness, hustle and clutch factor .. probably would be 99's

defensive awareness, low post offense, low post defense, steals, handles, on ball defense, injuries, close scoring and med scoring would be mid 90s...

free throws, standing dunk and speed .. may be mid-80s

strength, 3-point shooting would be 77 ...

blocks would be 70 ..

attack the basket/pull up for a jumper ... 70/30

in the post - fadeaway/hookshot ... 95/5

still good in enough categories to get a 99 overall ...

I stand corrected, I forgot about the tendency rating.

Explain to me what the tendency rating is cuz that went over my head. If I'm controlling mj theb he doing what I make him do. This reminds me of ali's ratings on fight night round 3 with his body being like a 65 or something and heart like a 70

I'm going through the 2k10 ratings right now. A few edits with my previous ratings.

Steve Nash Gilbery Arenas, D Rose, Deron Williams, have the highest handle on the game and it's only a 97.

Kobe's handle is a 94(too low) and Kirk Hinrich's handle is a freaking 91 so I'd put Mike's handle at a 95.

87-88 Mike(Mike at his physical prime and best PER rating ever outside of Wilt. Based off of how Visual Concepts rated LeBron this year(updated ratings).

Have a problem with clutch (99) and consistency. I don't think anyone should have a 99 consistency.

that's the thing about jordan ... one of the reasons his fans loved to watch him play ... and shelled out good money to see him play live night in and night out ... because they knew they were gonna get their money's worth ...

he rarely had an off night ...

o.. and yeah passin' at 85 ... i'm tryna recall all 2K's ratings from memory..

i knew i was gonna miss a few ...
