So it starts: Prince death video released, Vault pics, files made public

Haven't seen a Compuadd PC in at least 20yrs. Sporting a 5.25 drive no less. I know he hated the internet but with that PC he had no chance getting anywhere near it.

He was on the internet a ton, and started using email instead of faxing based on reports and text messages that were released.

I guess he was but he wasn't doing it on that computer. All in all when you see behind scenes on folks like this you see they are not much different than the rest of us. I wonder what buried treasures they are eventually going to find in that vault.
 
Prince was extremely private. Exposing his life like this would drive him crazy I'm sure.

On a lighter note, don't know what i expected, but I thought his shit would have been plush (and organized).

Odd how you have this image in your head of someone and in reality, they're just regular ppl like the rest of us.

They are. They just have a different occupation than some of us. I work in the industry and have conversations with many of them. They're just normal people but in a lot of cases, the stardom imprisons them.

Not in Prince's case ( I don't believe) but many have told me that the reason they get hooked on drugs is because the transition from the lights, glitz and glamour one minute to being in a hotel room alone or on a bus alone a couple of hours later is a steep decline in such a short period so they "self medicate" to not feel the emotional drop. Then they're hooked.

Oh well, RIP Prince.

All I'm saying is these are ppl too. Shid, I still can't get over India "Brown Skin" Arie being deep in love w/ a white boy. I knew then, that music shit, was just that...music.

I read the headline on one of them sites saying it was haunting.....man I'm in awe. I bet it some incredible unheard music and videos in that shit. I'd never live in that muthafucka by myself though. :lol:

To see ONE of the vaults is just interesting. With him still using floppy disks, no telling what's on those floppy disk also that were on the table. He had new floppy disks, tapes, CDS on that table. It's interesting to note there is some organization there, and at the time of the photos shit was being boxed. I don't think in 2 years that still have combed through that place.

I wonder what's on them Floppy disks? Lyrics? That shit can barely fit anything on them.
