Daz sold his music to Reggie Wright Jr. back in the day when struggling financially who still owns his masters.

Many people have said and it appears to be true that Snoop isn't really the owner of Death Row Records and its music but has a deal with the hedge fund company that actually owns the company and its music to be the face and play a role publicly as an owner.

I did read that Snoop may own the name Death Row and its logo which he's using to market many other products which may be the more profitable angle IMO.
