Yeah, charges were dropped, but dude still got arrested and had his truck towed..... he still lost, just no as much..... florida is on some BS,
However, I would've just scratched an S off and fought it in court and won. No arrest, no truck tow/ storage charges.
Only the inconvenience of court costs (in CLE you still pay court costs, even when you "win"), but then you have paperwork to keep with you anytime you get stopped again when you put A-S-S in bigger bold letters........
