LINDEN, New Jersey (WABC) -- A small plane has crashed in Linden, New Jersey.

The small plane appears to have gone down at an old GM plant on West Edgar Avenue.

There are no reports of injuries at this time but police believe two people were onboard at the time of the crash.

It is not clear if the plane was taking off or landing at the airport.

Eyewitness News has a crew en-route and will have the latest on this breaking story.

I'm just sayin'!

When I turned to NBC their helicopter was about to land @ Linden airport when the crash happened so they were over it before ANY emergency vehicles were even @ the scene, as they were hovering you saw fire trucks and police pull up on the perimeter of this property, it was COMPLETELY fenced in so they had to walk to the crash site which, as you see is pretty much out in the open.

GM used to make vehicles and load them onto rail cars there, but the plant closed down and was demoed a few years ago.
