remember when Chris Rock said "his parents told him..YOU DONT FIGHT IN FRONT OF WHITE PEOPLE!" THIS ^^^^ is what he was talking about.

You could see Ali wanted to slap shit out of him.

Muhammed passed on years ago and sly isnt relevant I don't see the point of this thread.
the point is to gauge how much progress we've made (or not) from that time to this... if you dont care to discuss that then leave the thread alone rather than try to derail it. :dunno:

C-SPAN Juneteenth caller: ‘I haven’t heard any Black person say thank you’ to ‘white men’

ATexas Republican demanded gratitude from Black Americans because white people participated in ending slavery in the United States.

During a C-SPAN call-in program celebrating Juneteenth, a Republican caller from Texas named Dave blamed slavery on Democrats.

"I have not heard one white Democrat apologize for slavery," he said. "I haven't heard any Black person say thank you to the over 300,000 white men who died to free those Black slaves."

Interesting. Sly reminded me of Rick James and Lil Wayne at various times during that snippet. He was probably high as a kite...Definitely seemed like it. Sly and Muhammad were two wildly different personalities, that's for sure. In the end, no harm done.

Rest in Power to one of my greatest childhood and life heroes, THE Greatest, Muhammad Ali.

And continued long life, recovery, good health and strength to the living legend, Sly Stone.
