Sleeping pods $800 a month.

I pay 1k for 3 bedrooms 2 bath duplex. I know people want to be in places where everything is happening but some of these people need to move to more boring places lol.

Ain't shit happening in Palo Alto aside from a few generic college bars.

It's a lot like most cities in California. A glorified suburb with a handful of tall buildings.

Can't say I wouldn't do it under certain situations. In my early 20s, 1986 to 88, I've shared houses. We had our own rooms.

All it takes is one tenant to fuck it up.

But $800 is fucked up. Then again they get the use of the facility that looks okay.

Damn bro, that must be some place. Even is San Fran or NYC.

If your company is footing the bill I don't know how they wouldn't know the cost.

Preach! Hell my oldest brother just purchased a condo in Vegas for about that price a month. I get the desire to want to be around exciting shit but choose your cities wisely.

It's 1100 Sq ft, it's a nice building and I have a great view of the bay but it is way too expensive.

My company pays 85%, but what I was saying I can't let them find out about the sleep pod for 800 a month.

Yep gotta move smarter you will have to get out of certain cities if you want to be comfortable unless you're upper class or rich.

Immigrants been doing this illegally for years in big cities.
All you need is a fire to spark a conversation about the housing crisis. There was a fire in Philly a few months back that killed 10+ people. It was talked about for maybe a week. Then the same thing happened in The Bronx 2 days later.

I've had roommates for the last 9 years. Don't mind sharing a kitchen and bathroom, but I need at least a room of my own.

A place I can store my gear. Practice DJing without having someone comment on every mistake. Watch Major Lazer reruns on Hulu without anyone comparing. Or just be able to fart in bed without having to smell anyone else's.

I mean I know a dude in Long Beach that lives in a 3 bedroom house and its 10 of them in the house, he's 57 and they been living together in that house since their 20s

Nice to come home to my pod after a hard day

That's fucking awful man. I remember I had to grind for years to get out of apartments but that sounds terrible.

Yet, people on this very board will end up having to do this because they didn't want to buy their own home when they had the chance.

I can't count how many times brothers on this board have said, "that house is in the hood. I sint buying that. " Then a few years later all the homes in that hood are bought up and the entire neighborhood becomes gentrified.

Ask the brothers in DC that could have bought homes in SE for a couple hundred thousand. Now???
