How many of you listen to Urban View on SiriusXM? Which shows do you listen to on there? What are your thoughts on the channel?

Love it...I heard somebody talking about Joe Madison and tried to find his show but was unable to get channel 126 up here (Sirius didn't air it up here until 2020).
Once I found it, (The channel -- Not Joe Madison) I've barely changed the channel. I listen every single day in my car and on the app when I'm in the office.
Karen Hunter is my favorite but I listen to pretty much every show on there if I get a chance....Clay Cane, Laura coates when she was on...now Lurie Daniel-Favors, Wilmer leon, Shermichael, Dr Rachad Richey, Reecie Colbert etc.

I really like Urban View but try as I might I can't take Joe Madison for more than five minutes. He acts like a mean spirited grumpy curmudgeon who routinely interrupts, disrespects and insults callers to the show if they even hint at disagreeing with him on any subject. However if a celebrity or a person note calls the show he's all sweetness and light. He seems to have forgotten that it's because of the callers that he even has a show. Joe's intelligent and knowledgeable but he acts like a dick way too often for me. 
I listen and have for years... However It has gotten worse imo.
Joe Madison Is a pain in the ass. If he didnt do some things right, I wouldnt listen for all shit he does wrong.
He does a lot of very unnecessary bitching and cutting people off and
always reminding everyone unnecessarily, that its his show and he can do what he wants.
The one thing I hate the most is when he tells someone they have 1 minute and then
uses 45 seconds to explain how much time he doesnt have left. "How about STFU and let them talk."
The rest of the shows mostly bore the shit ouot of me... I dont listen as much as I once did.

This is one of the reasons I stop listening. If vinegar could talk, it would sound like Joe.
Yeah one of the best stations on XM Radio. Big fan of the folks listed. Outside of Urban RadioOne 1490 News Talk radio, this is definitely my favorite radio station.
I love the weekend shows. Lou Hutt puts me on so much game related to taxes and investments....On the low he might be in my top 3 favorite shows.

Remember, Joe always tells you that radio is theater of the mind. Most of his show is an act with fake outrage.
I mostly listen to Wilmer now and the tax man. In my opinion Karen fell off after 2020, still listen ev now and then though

I've been listening for quite some time. Joe Madison is informative, but it gets difficult to listen to when he cuts people off (but will interrupt his guests all the time), and when he berates the callers (even if they agree with him). Clay Cane is very intelligent and informative. Karen Hunter is a good interviewer, and when she and her crew cut up, they are hilarious. Wilmer Leon is extremely underused and overlooked. He should have a daily show, instead of once a week. Lou Hutt is a great financial advisor. My only regret is that they got rid of Godfrey. He is too funny, but he knows his history as well.
There's a reason for that... Dr. Leon will make you use your mind.

I've tried to listen from time to time but after about 15 minutes it becomes clear the hosts (and most guests - the ones who aren't wacko) are talking to the dollar, not the people.
