I grabbed two SimpliCams back in November, they had a deal where you can get two for $99.

What's the difference between the older model and the new? Trying to determine if it is worth upgrading.

I believe the "System Vulnerability" issues are corrected with the new model. The new model can be updated over the air, the old model could not.

Ring announced a security system a few months ago with the same equipment as the OP (w/ monitoring) except camera. I think it's supposed to be out in April for $199 + $100/year.

also let them know how close the nearest fire hydrant is to your house...if it's close...also saves you money.....one is across the street from my house !!!!
