No, actually it illustrates the opposite. It's always good strategy to be aggressive against 1 to 3 players at a full table. That minimizes the risks that you take. But keep watching WSOP on tv, that's all you need to play the game at a decent level

Bluffing is bluffing......or have you heard the term before? It not necessarily what you have but whether you choose to play aggressively. That's what that strategy entails. Didn't they teach you that on all those hours of poker you watch?

Anyhow, I go to Vegas every quarter and play down on the Gulf Coast sometimes....AC is a shithole, but if I'm ever there I'll look for the cat in the hat and shades blabbing incessantly about what he saw the pros do on television.

Bluffing works when you are in a position of strength or have established yourself as a tight player that does not play a lot of hands. It can work against a weak player, but you go ahead and keep using the bluff like it you got pocket A's all the time you wont last long with any decent player. Really what do you have against any pro that has become good enough to play on tv anyway or the people that watch them ?

I have nothing against the pros, I have something against those who try to dress the part and recount what they saw on television as if that passes for poker knowledge that they actually possess. It struck a nerve when I first stated that so I'll assume that describes you.
Position, chip count are always considerations when it comes to bluffing. No need for that to be said, but if mentioning it makes you feel more knowledgable, then cool.
