dude was lookin like he owed a mobster loan shark and today was the day to pay up
![]()
This gives me joy that I can't explain. Nothing I hate worse than these little shits that sit at the tables with glasses and hoodies trying so hard to look the part. Memorize a few odds thinking they're pros
Motherfucker was smug right until his ass had to leave the table.![]()
How is a 25 year old the CEO of a college loan company?
The is FAKE
Dude is a pro. Nothing you can do when the cards fold out like that. That was fucked up.
He had every reason to be smug he had the best starting poker hand you could possibly have and by all rights was expecting a chop pot. The odds of hitting runner, runner are about 4%, any poker player any age would have made an all in call or if acting first would have went all in. I see aces get cracked all the time at the casino but never a's vs a's.
I understand that, but even after the hole cards were shown he was still smug. I see those types all of the time. After the flop he said something like, "if it happens, oh well" knowing damn well he didn't mean that. Welp, it happened. Sayonara...
He is all in pre flop with assumably the best hand. On the flop he is is like 1% underdog. Ivey, Helmuth, Brunson, Negranu would have had the same outlook, you cant discount a monster hand that gets beat for ego. Shit happens, it just happened to cost him a million dollars. I would have had the same demeanor had I went all in with pocket a's and though I am not a pro I am a damn good card player.

Is that real money that they are playing with. $10 million pot?
As I understand it, the chips were tournament money. The buy in was real money, and the payout started at $15 mil for first place. Not sure how many places paid cash.
The demeanor to have is the one of the guy who eventually won. If anyone had the right to be smug it's him, but he was humble and he pulled out the win. The pros you listed, (maybe with the exception of that loudmouth shit Negranu) wouldn't have shown such hubris on a supposed chop.
You do realize most of these guys have investors that put up the million dollars for them to buy in the tournament
Had my aces get cracked by a straight on the river at horseshoe last night in Cincy. I raised preflop $115 to buy the pot and an asshole calls me with 9,10 spades. I politely finished my drink and wished the table good luck and got back to Indy.
He got lucky by catching that heart on the river. he didnt pull out anything. It is becoming obvious that you dont play or watch poker to often because Helmuth is the loudmouth not Negranu. Some players are just more animated and cocky than others, every poker player has his own personal attitude or act at the table, these guys are pros, I would love to have the luxury to play cards for a living and not have to work. You can believe if I did I would be sitting there with my headphones on and fitted cap pulled down.

And you would be the first guy I'd go after on the tables.... but it's awesome that you know of all the guys that play on television for a living, you should pat yourself on the back (I would give you a virtual cookie, but I'm fresh out)
I was at a no limit 1-2 table bought in for 300 and was down to my last $150
Hmm I don't know why 9-10 suited calls, that is a huge raise 50x the big blind. How much was in the pot before you made the raise ? How many people were in the hand before your raise ?
I would welcome that, not for nothing players like yourself tend to be the first ones out. Just the fact that you said that further proves your lack of knowledge of the game. I enjoy the game and I play regularly and watch as well, so yes I am very familiar with some of the top players, education is a must.
