it can go both ways...I’ve seen parents who were aware their child was doing this shit and they gave the same excuses...on the flip side there were parents who were completely appalled by this and stopped the shit immediately...the reason the behavior had continued for so long in the first place is bcuz white teachers assumed the parents would condone the shit and in essence basically allowed the students to act up in the classroom unbeknownst to the parents
He has so much to consider in that situation, in real-time, while she is for all intensive purposes completely "out of control" I think he handled it very well, as the only adult in the room he chose to take pause before reaction, giving him all the options available to handle her behavior from an administrative solution. He has the big picture in clear view and she is left to deal with nothing but the fall out of her very poor choices. I believe she could be expelled, but maybe he has a plan to work with helping to keep her in school and get her on the right track.

I wouldn’t go that far...I’ve seen asshole kids turn their shit around in as little as a year sometimes less...something as simple as transferring schools or even switching teachers can have a huge positive effect...quiet as kept the worse aspect of having students act out like this is the classroom feeding into it...w/ the right classroom “training”/environment tho you can have a student like this feeling like a complete fool when he/she acts up and realizes everyone else is still working and not paying him/her the slightest attention

Hell yeah bruh we had once had a sub that was old like my man. She ended up staying on the full year teaching the class. We would have one person distract her while somebody else went in her gradebook. Everybody got As and our dumbasses didnt know a damn thing about Business Law.

lmaooooo...like I said I still don't know how I graduated with all the dumbshit I did to teachers... We did S hit like tie their bags to the window blind and than toss it out the window...S hit be hanging outside the window the whole period...I remember during summer school nigs would flip your bag or bookbag inside out with your stuff in it and the it to the blinds than toss it out the window...funniest S hit tying multiple bags up and tying a school chair and tossing out the window...when they fig it out they tried pulled it up and the chair banged into the window lmao... Man on man can't imagine if social media existed back than...how I didn't get expelled for some of the S hit I allegedly did who knows
I'm a former high school teacher and for me, disrespect was not tolerated in my classroom. In my 4 years of teaching, I've only had 5 (3 male, 2 female) students that had to be removed from my classroom, and none of them got physical. Though 2 of them stepped to me, as a teacher you have to know how to de-escalate and deflect. And I had the respect of my classroom that if a student got out of line, other students would stand up before I even said anything. One of the students that tried to get in my face, I ignored him and as i wrote him up, the rest of the class was telling him to shut up and sit down until one of my students, a football player, got in the students face and told him to get tf away from me or he was gonna put him on his ass. I got between them and told the football player to relax, he was like nah I'm not gonna have this idiot disrespecting you, told him let it go. Long story short, student was removed from my class, ended up coming back after school and apologizing, etc.. As a teacher you come to learn that a lot of these students act out or do dumb things because they have issues going on at home that they don't know how to deal with, so school becomes their playground. They don't care because no one cares about them, or so they feel. There is always an underlying problem to why some students act out and we have to keep that in mind as educators.

Two sides of a coin. I have seen students go from school to school until they end up how they end up. I wish her well but the odds are against us already especially when some of that shit is self inflicted. You know it is rare we get the benefit of doubt or second chances. She is blowing it and this cac world is ready to chew her up and spit her out.
Fam, both of my parents are retired high school teachers. Once you get to high school, your personality and circumstances are pretty much set unless you have some appreciable asset in academics or sports. I hope she make it but the odds are already against us and her behavior will make it even worse.
