Ego. I remember reading he wanted out last season because he was having problems coexisting with Amare. Plus they ain't trying to give him his money since Phoenix is slashing payroll like a motherfucker. Why you think they sold their first round draft pick this year.

I agree ! Nash and that fast- break offense help to inflate his numbers. His style of play doesn't fit well with the East IMO.
He probably doesn't feel appreciated w/all these rumors of him being traded so he just stepping ahead and let them know to let him go.
Now with that said, shit, I don't care what anybody say I will pick his azz up in a minute b/c he is a straight up hardworker and true team player. So Miami might need to let a cple of players go to make room for him. Cleveland needs to make room for him. Detroit...shit I don't care what you say could help them substanially. He do need to leave west coast if he going to cut out unless he unfairly get on San Antonio Team and I would cut Mike Finley and a player off the bench real quick to get him.
