Shaun King talking to Stephen A Smith

Just listened to the whole thing. Great interview. Shaun King really articulated himself well. I can see why they're trying so hard to discredit him.

Good drop. Cac's on sport radio been trying to attack the messenger in Shaun King but don't want to come to terms with the shit Manning did.

You have many of them attack him and that woman, who was involved in the case and when you tried to tell them the facts, they brush it off....

I like the cowherd show, but when Whitlock comes on I change the channel.

I'm glad Shaun pointed out the sworn affidavits against Manning because all you hear from people caping for Manning is that this is "her lawyer's side of the story."

It kinda is. A Sworn affidavit is just a piece of paper with your signature on it. I can write a sworn affidavit that I fucked Beyonce in the ass, she can say it never happened. Still word vs word.

Huh, from an attorney? My fault, I thought you were an attorney. No, in NY State submitting a false sworn affidavit is perjury. In fact, affidavits have to state that they are subject to the penalty of perjury.

Affidavit
An affidavit is a signed statement, duly sworn to, by the maker thereof, before a notary public or other officer authorized to administer oaths. The venue, or county wherein the affidavit was sworn to should be accurately stated. But it is of far more importance that the affiant, the person making the affidavit, should have personally appeared before the notary and have made oath to the statements contained in the affidavit as required by law. Under the Penal Law (§210.00) the wilful making of a false affidavit is perjury, but to sustain an indictment therefor, there must have been, in some form, in the presence of an officer authorized to administer an oath, an unequivocal and present act by which the affiant consciously took upon himself the obligation of an oath; his silent delivery of a signed affidavit to the notary for his certificate, is not enough. (People v. O’Reilly, 86 NY 154; People ex rel. Greene v. Swasey, 122 Misc. 388; People v. Levitas (1963) 40 Misc. 2d 331.) A notary public will be removed from office for preparing and taking the oath of an affiant to a statement that the notary knew to be false. (Matter of Senft, August 8, 1929; Matter of Trotta, Feb-ruary 20, 1930; Matter of Kibbe, December 24, 1931.)
The distinction between the taking of an acknowledgment and an affidavit must be clearly understood. In the case of an acknowledg-ment, the notary public certifies as to the identity and execution of a document; the affidavit involves the administration of an oath to the affiant. There are certain acknowledgment forms which are a combination of an acknowledgment and affidavit. It is incumbent on the notary public to scrutinize each document presented to him and to ascertain the exact nature of the notary’s duty with relation thereto. An affidavit differs from a deposition in that an affidavit is an ex parte statement. (See definition of Deposition.)

Affirmation

A solemn declaration made by persons who conscientiously decline taking an oath; it is equivalent to an oath and is just as binding; if a person has religious or conscientious scruples against taking an oath, the notary pub-lic should have the person affirm. The following is a form of affirma-tion: “Do you solemnly, sincerely, and truly, declare and affirm that the statements made by you are true and correct.”

Any false statement under oath is perjury.

Example. Kwame Kilpatrick testified in the civil trials in open court that he didn't fuck Beatty. Text messages come out. Clearly he fucked. Then they file CRIMINAL charges against both for perjury. The is no real consequence in civil litigation to lying on the stand. It is what it is. Apples and Oranges.

An affidavit doesn't have to be signed in front of a notary right? It can be signed before the court or an officer of the court right? A lawyer is an officer of the court right? So you could sit in your lawyers office and sign an affidavit right?

Right?

Yes, and that would be perjury.

Yes, and that would be perjury.
Only if you could prove beyond
a reasonable doubt that I did not fuck Beyoncé in the ass. Which would require sworn testimony....or an affidavit....from myself or Beyoncé, which says I did not.

Barring the possibility that I would be dumb enough to contradict myself in two sworn statements, that leaves only Beyoncé affidavit vs mine.

The biggest thing i've seen thus far is listening to people try to discredit him as someone sticking up for his "boy" Cam. I heard someone say exactly that on a sports radio show. I almost thought this chic was black who they seem to be going hard at.

I gotta say.....this shit would've been all fine and dandy if he didn't act like he did after the fact. Archie and Peyton tried to ruin that chic. I had never heard anything about this shit. Amazing.

Stephen A was pointing that out in the video I posted an hour ago..

During the whole Ray Rice,Greg Hardy,Ray McDonald and a list of black player was getting called out about there current and past transgressions, but somehow nobody in the media said anything about Manning, but somehow folks was talking about Newton's situation at Florida during Superbowl week....Hell,in Ray Lewis last season, all I've seen and heard was folks calling him a murderer and bringing that incident up in the Superbowl, but bringing up Peyton's past is a smear campaign according to Bill Polian :hmm:

Oh yeah. I've heard that one too. A "smear campaign". Fuck outta here with that shit Polian. What the fuck is this shit with Cosby? How can you smear Peyton's name when its shit he has ACTUALLY DONE?

These idiots/cac's/racists have come out in the defense of Peyton. Unless they are a Patriots fan. Them cac's wondering why he not getting the Brady treatment.

Yeah but they're bringing up his race as a distraction over his points.

I'm convinced this is all a game SAS went on at the end of the video, no one is gonna say the truth due to repercussions.

Media is nothing more than a tool to dumb down the masses.
