SF vs HOU - the game no one wanted to win?

Ok, Houston just settled for overtime instead of using a plentiful 43 seconds.

Do you think that both teams are as stupid to believe that loosing a game will gain a quality NFL running back? Or do you belive the owners may want to lose a game to gain a high priced asset that might not stick around in their city, but be good for trades/payoffs?

I wouldn't put anything past Houston. The Bush family is somewhere
in the ownership of that team. A family who may have very well LET
the Twin Towers get bombed just to make that oil money. So tanking
a few football games is nothing

I tell you something though, I've seen this kind of hype before. If I
was a GM, I'd be looking to draft Lindell White. He could end up
being a steal if he's coming out this year or next

Well, so much for White being a steal anymore....after the game
he had last night, the press will make him a legend now.....

But I see this as a good thing. Hopefully, after this performance
the Bush hoopla will die down and maybe he'll slide down to the
5th pick
