PS3 fallin off.
They cost too much right now
How long where they stacked up tho? I saw this at the PS3 site and the picture that follows was taken about 30 minutes later and two where gone already. Ps3 are selling....some states cant keep them on the shelf for long after they are stacked.
Sony has stepped up production on units because of the Euro launch in March. Plus there will be a big update in march also with about 10 - 20 games being released too.
I love my PS3 (not hating on 360) and Im patient enough to give it time to take off. The PS2 was the same way when it launched.

First, all of those boxes could be empty and use for display. But another reason for the lack of sales is the PS3 really doesn't have a launch game that makes it worth the money to buy. The 360 been out for a while and have a good library of games, the PS3 doesn't give you a good game to make the system worth buying. Maybe when Metal Gear Solid 4 is release that will increase sales but for now the PS3 is not worth the money because you can buy the same games for your 360.

I don't NEED a Blu-Ray player UNLESS they stop making regular DVDs completely . If they do that, you might have to convert. Until then a PS3 is optional to the point that it is unnecessary. Somebody put $599 + hi def cable + extra controller + a couple games = sheeiiiitt. I feel the same way. And if you don't have an HDTV, why buy a PS3 anyway? I got one and I am fine with my PS2 right now.

don't know about everyone else but i got mines last week and that shit is not where i am in the world-it cannot stay in the stores and i bought it thinking the same thing...damn, its mad expensive and yet theres no 'got to have game' for it but i played with it today and i must say i am happy i bought it. THe movies suck and the games are so-so but theres so much this machine can do so i'm off to look for that 62 inch tv tommorrow to compliment it. I think the demographics of it is different from the other consoles and i have them as well. Dunno, my two cents fam
