The Daily Mail reportedthat the shooter, identified as Umberto Ferreira dos Santos (and nicknamed Betinho), shot three people at the wedding: 62-year-old Cicero Barbosa da Silva, his 37-year-old son Edmilson Bezerra da Silva and his wife.

According to the outlet, Brazilian authorities said they believe dos Santos came to the wedding with the intention of seeking revenge for the death of his son. It's believed that Edmilson was a main suspect in the son's death.
Cicero and Edmilson underwent surgery at a local hospital and are said to be in stable condition. The wife, whose identity was not released, was treated and released.
Police are said to be still searching for dos Santos.
