King County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson Mike Mellis provided an update to a homicide investigation in Fall City on the afternoon of Monday, October 21, 2024. Investigators said five people were found dead inside a home in Fall City Monday morning after deputies responded to a reported disturbance with gunfire involved. Mellis said deputies found three school-aged children and two adults dead inside the home - another teenager who lived at the home was also taken to a Seattle hospital for their injuries. A teenage suspect was taken into custody. “This is a significant event for the neighborhood," Mellis said. "And I’d call it a significant event for the region.”
