Ain’t no fucking Fucking way... I wouldn’t store my worst game on a seagate.

Best Buy is slanging an 8tb western digital hard drive for $159. I picked up two of those bad boys.

One for the Xbox and one for the office.

What’s wrong with Seagate ? And in 2017 when do you need external HD when everything is streaming?

Work... for file storage and to back up my computer. I’ve got a 3 tb work computer.

At home for external storage for video games and music.

And seagate hardrive are notorious for failing. I’ve been burnt 3 times on Seagate hard drives.

Uh Oh, I just copped the 1tb Seagate backup for my PS4. I guess I need to take this shit back. Any suggestions on what I should get?

Never again. I lost so much one time, the only drive to ever fail and not be capable of recovery is a Seagate. Fick Seagate as a staff, as a company and and as a mother fucking crew. And if you down with Seagate then fuck you too

FYI Staples ended their Visa checkout promotion before 3pm today. I called the toll free number trying to do a price match myself and was told they had reached the promotional usage limit and it was NOT returning for the remainder of the weekend.

I have 3. I saw the add and passed. Thanks OP but SG drives have failed me. I gotta use a computer that runs special recovery software to get all that shit back on all those drives.

Always back your shit up at least 2 times, preferably 3.
Storage is cheap but constantly ghosting drives is a PIA so 3.0 or better USB is a must.

BTW I'd go with WD.

Lacie, premium brand seagate.

Good looking, I appreciate the replies.......

I have only had a seagate barracuda fail on me.

All my other seagates are over 5 years old and still going hard for me. WD externals are the ones that have failed on me. I treat all my externals the same way.

Showing my age here but Seagate SCSI drives used to run the industry. Idk where they fell off over time.

But I copped this 5TB WD external from Fry's online for $89. Best deal I saw out there for gigs

Seagate shit is always on sale, and it's for a reason got damn it.

I've bought about 10 hard drives over the last 15 years, the only one that failed me was a...you guessed it...a muthafuckin' SEAGATE.

All the other drives, if there was a problem, it only needed a new enclosure. Problem solved.

I gave the Seagate a new enclosure, didn't help shit. I found one program that was able to recover the data on that drive and it didn't keep the names of the files and some of the data was still too corrupted to recover.

Fuck a Seagate. I don't know how many times I gotta tell you niggas.
