Say Fam, I just figured out how to borrow sites coding

A few hours ago I was out and I thought of a way to borrow websites design coding and got home and tried it and it worked. Why this is so relevant is because by doing this it will cut my time in half getting my own sites on the web. With a new web address a lil tweaking and personalizing it will be all mines. I just would like to hear from the fam what would you do with this knowledge and what are the pitfalls associated. If there are any laws on the books you may know of Copyright etc, that could comeback to bite me in the ass should the designer or owner learn of my borrowed site design. Any and all feedback is welcome...

How did you get the codes? Other than the right click option to view page source/info.

All you basically need is the web address and Namo Web Editor. I will share my new found knowledge with the fam once I get more insight on what I can do with it and what to avoid. It's pretty simple to do tho. I'm not even all that knowledgeable in coding and design. It's a work in progress. All that I do know I have learned from youtube and experimentation.

Explain what you mean "borrow coding".

Do you mean coping what you see in the view source on your web browser?

If that's the case then it's what you're doing is not new.

Although I've found in the long run it's just better to code your own pages.

But again, I'm not sure what you mean. You would have to explain what you mean when you say "borrow coding".

I have found a way to take a websites page. Essentially the entire make-up and put it on to Namo Web editor to reveal the entire HTML, CSS coding which I can then go back and tweak for my own specific needs.

Trust and believe that if someone else created it and was paid to do it they will not be happy to find out that someone has "borrowed" it.........they probably have some code embedded to let them know about people "borrowing" code.

Dont get me wrong.....be innovative and git your hustle on just dont catch a case doin it! Anyway good luck!

Stealing page designs have been around forever. I wouldnt suggest stealing copy text. If you rank for similar terms as the original owner you could be sued.

this is useless in my opinion.

why steal someones design with the amount of free/ cheao themes out here now?

why steal their text content when u'll get penalized by google for having duplicate content?

:lol::lol:

Bro, you sound like you just got your first PC.

You could also do a "Save page as" in your web browser and download the page and all associated images. Open it in ANY editor and achieve the same results.

What I will tell you though, if you are interested in learning to develop your own, this is a good way to start. You get to see the structure and how simple changes affect it.

lol@viewing page source.

firebug in firefox does this exact same thing. even takes .js files. EVERYTHING. stop being a clown.

Eh! Fuck all you clowns that had anything negative to say in my mu-fuckin post. I'm just now getting into this so its all jive new to me. I didn't know it was common knowledge... :hmm:
