the fuck? you bake chicken and eat rice without salt?
1tsp of soy sauce is about 700mg of salt, the thing is people like to use the whole we are addicted to salt line yet they forget we use to use salt as currency thousands of years ago, out ancestors used salt to preserve and cook food because they couldn't eat all that flavourless shityou'd be amazed at what you can do without adding extra salt to food.
for instance, before i grill chicken i'll marinate it with garlic and onion powder and hit it with a few splashes of soy sauce. that adds all the salt you need.
for rice i'll use chicken or beef broth, both have enough salt in them to season the rice effectively.
with plain white rice or eggs i use only a little salt, which is why it lasts so long in my house.
nobody who eats what i've cooked complains.![]()
