Dez Bryant is hoping to rejuvenate his career by catching passes from Drew Brees.

The former Dallas Cowboys wide receiver is signing a one-year deal with the New Orleans Saints, a source informed of the situation told NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport and NFL Network's Jane Slater. The pending deal comes one day after the free-agent wide receiver worked out for the team. Rapoport adds Bryant will officially sign Thursday.

Dez loves the game, and he plays for the love of it. Playing for chump change this year might be the motivation to get right for a bigger contract next year. Dez still has 3 years left, and if he takes his routes seriously next offseason he might have 4 yrs.

His base salary is $1.25m.. $600k is the prorated amount because there's only 8 games left. He can earn up to another $500k in incentives

Yes, at this stage and age in his career Dez just wants to win and catch catchable balls. He’s happy to be with a Brees, remember he was tweeting about coming to the Patriots to play with Brady. IF he plays well and behaves himself, he will get a good contract this offseason.
