Congrats to the brotha. Always knew he was the real deal, just hope he can keep it up (stay in the lineup)

2009, and black folks are still breaking records in baseball - even with our overall numbers dwindling...amazing.

Not surprised! The young man has always shown great potential. Also, he dropped almost 60-lbs in weight from last season, emphasizing the importance of wrist-action as opposed to the need for body 'girth' and weight to propel HR's.

Her's also active--along with teammate, Jimmy Rollins and others--- in MLB's R.B.I. program, and other 'youth awareness' activities. Ryan is definitely the real deal. We'll hear more about before his MLB career ends. Props to Ryan.

Congrat To Howard Hopefully He Can Do It Natural Instead Of Being Doped Up. We Need More Blacks In The Big Leagues.

If he can keep the strikeouts down and get his average up he'd be a true force.

This is what I have been saying for the longest to people but they only look at numbers (HR’s). If he works on getting better plate discipline and stop swinging at every pitch to send it deep he could be a big time hitter who would be feared like Barry Bonds.

Citizens Bank Park is not as hard to hit HRs.

I hope he stays with the Phillies (although I don't like the Phillies) and keeps knocking out them HRs.

Him and Prince Fielder are gonna be great power hitters for the next 5-10 years.

Hope they keep themselves healty.
