Russell Westbrook Jordan commercial...Why not?

Man he is setting himself to come off like an immature, selfish, fool who is more interested in looking good and cool than actually being a winner...

You got all that from that commercial?
Most of the time they are subliminal with commercials this shit is blatant, number one he is acting childish, and the hook is saying "now I do what I want"...
Its almost saying now that Durant is gone I can do what I want, even if it means being immature, childish and losing.... I don't know if he caught on to it, but the producers of the commercial know damn well what they are doing, and Westbrook fed into it like a fool...

Have y0u ever worked in P.R. or marketing where every single item, lyric, color and sound is taken very seriously... Most of that shit is designed to hit the subliminal mind, even worse their messages are often double entendre where they have one meaning for the target audience, in this case the younger ones it caters on their ego and longing to be free, while having another meaning for another audience, the typical sports fan white male ages 30 -50 where they are most likely to see it as him being selfish and childish..
White folks are good for playing these types of tricks and if your not sharp you can be making a fool of yourself with out you knowing..
CAse point...

Westbrook likes to dance..
This commercial fits into his everyday lifestyle, he's not trying to be anything but who he is.

Commercial is dope because its simple, yet it shows the joy and freedom of youth and all the possibilities

I bet you if you were to ask how the average NBA player or average ticket holder feels about Westbrook, and this commercial I would not be the same as the average young African American male.. This is ok, don't need people to love you, but as soon as stumbles and soon as his team starts lose, how much you want to bet the media is going to crucify him by calling him a loser, immature, not focused, more concern about looking good than actually winning...
Plus OKC is going to find it hard finding star players who want to play with him..
This is why I say he needs are good P.R. person and an image change, something that conveys confidence, maturity, leadership and hardworking, as opposed to this shit...

lol you really are reading way too much into this commercial bro...

Russ almost single handed took OKC to the playoffs that year when he came back from injury and KD went out. The missed the 8th seed by a game or two. I'm sure he understands the pressure of having the KEYS to the car, but this is what he wanted. Dude is a walking triple double and I doubt it's gonna be hard to find another top player to play with him. This isn't Kobe we're talking about.

Like I say tho, Rus is in a win-win situation this season.

And you are doing what they want you to do, that is see it from your point of view.... I bet you they played that commercial for different demographic groups (trust me every commercial does) I know the younger demographics would see it the way you do, however the older people especially the ESPN crowd is more likely to see it the way I explained..
Understand a perfect commercial to them is one that make the buyer feel good enough to buy the product while subliminally reinforcing negative black stereo types that fly over their heads..
Its no different to what they do today's young and dumb rappers, where in their minds they look cool, trendy and hip but to most of the world they look like feminized, jackass fools...

Because all white people have that king kong poster in their secret shrine of racism that they teach their kids right?

Last night alone should have showed you how much Westbrook has matured.

A few years ago he would have told that fan FUCK YOU who flipped him off...

Instead, yesterday he just looked at that fat fuck ass cac like

"Yo who's mans is this??"

and went on about his day, got buckets & the win.

KD has been the bitch throwing little subs at Russell since he left

Leaders do what ever it takes to win, while selfish players do what ever they want, just as long as they look good... Catch??

Top option and leader are two different things on a basketball court....

We'll just have to wait and see how the season plays out.

He's their leader and best option. There's no discussion about it. Westbrook is okc right now
