I think this maybe one of the reasons why the Mayweather camp might have pushed so hard for the blood testing.The only thing that Roger got wrong was it wasn't no A-side "meth" that them Filipinos were using, it was "Agimats" or "anting-anting". These are Filipino amulets that supposedly give people special powers. Been here in the Philippines for the last 6-7 years on and off, and it's plenty of these Filipinos that claim that Pacman has an agimat or amulet. Some say that is one of the reasons he refuses to do blood samples so close to the fight, cuz one has to pray on this amulet for a certain amount of days for it to be effective, and the taking of blood could have a negative effect on it. These cats over here are very superstitious and have all kinds of crazy beliefs. Personally, I think the Mayweathers may have heard about this rumor that Pac has this "Agimat" and assumed it had to be some kind of PED. I have yet to see this with my own eyes, but have heard tons of stories about these amulets. They say during Holy Week (the week leading up to Easter Sunday), people with these amulets would hike up to sacred mountains to pray on and test their powers. Heard stories about bullets being shot at these amulets from within 10 feet leaving no damage, people cutting their arms with knives and hours later no scar wounds etc. Until I see it for myself, I say it's bullshit.
