Yes brother. If your family members tend to get a lot of cancers, chances are you will get it too. My father and 2 uncles have had bouts with cancer. But they always caught it early and fought it off. I just had my blood work done last week and my next 3-year colonoscopy is due in December. The last one I had, they found 2-3 polyps but they were benign. Please talk to your doctor, getting tested is not as bad as you may think. They put you to sleep for a colonoscopy. They can detect it in your blood. You can even shit in a box and send it to a lab. I stay on my girls ass about mammograms and my mother and sister too. Early detection is the key. Like my Vietnam vet uncle said, you want to greet em at the door, not fight em in your house. Please talk to your doctor and if you don't have one, get one.Wait - her mother had it?

Once it gets to the bones, it’s pretty much over sadlyRIP....I have a friend from school who is battling breast cancer that has metastasized to her bones. She's now going to places she feared she wouldn't be able to afford in the future. Doctor gave her 5 years, she's on year 4.
It was when she experienced pain in her leg that it was discovered. She underwent surgery where they removed the entire bone from her leg and replaced it. She is a warrior and refuses to surrender; with grandchildren on the way, she is committed to this battle until the very end.Once it gets to the bones, it’s pretty much over sadly
