Restaurants using machines to crack down on fountain drink refills

Back in the day it was unlimited refills when you dine in.

Now it's stealing.

Ya'll call it Soda or Pop???

I don't care I bring my own drink in and I get a cup of ice....sometimes I'll just pay and get refills if I'm doing the three for one movie steal lol and I want the seniors discount....Movie be in the threater for a week and the next week on Netflix like goddamn is it worth it going to the movies and the dollar movie is no more.

It's a bizz not a charity, they into making money not losing money.. if they don't do free refills than it's understandable why they did this plus certain individuals probably come in there without buying shit and get free drinks. More than likely the last part was probably happening and that's what force this hand

Plus a true Jew would have an extra cup on hand cause 17 secs is a long time and that's easily got to be enough for 2 cups.. so manipulation of the system can still exist

The phrase "penny wise, pound foolish" refers to a situation where someone is overly concerned with saving small amounts of money (the pennies) but overlooks or neglects larger, more significant factors (the pounds).

Refills or stolen fountain drinks have never put anyone out of business. The example in the OP makes the overall dining experience worse for people who are buying actual meals.

Lol— that’s what I’m going to do if this becomes widespread.

Sad, what if somebody has a disability and can't pour their drink in the refill time period...
Big bizz : tell that cripple to carry a bottle of water than.. should we stop wearing sneakers cause a man with no legs can't wear them?.. MJ said fuck them kids, big biz said fuck them disabled

I don't think your shoes analogy applies. My point is there should be equal access to the drink area without an encumbrance, that's all. That whole time thing with the scanner is just another barrier for the disabled.

Nah I was just saying big bizz don't give a damn about falling back on the idea cause of one particular group, in this case disabled

I knew this dude in the military who had a large cup from most of the fast food spots. He would clean it at home then in the morning walk in refill from about 2 of the stores. Then on the way home refill them again from the stores. He said he can't keep soda in his house cause of the kids.

you drink from those nasty ass machines?
You make a good point. However, eating outside your own cooked food in general is nasty.
I say all the time, whenever you go out to eat, be prepared to eat shit, piss, cum and boogers.

No one bathes or washes their hands in 2024.
