I was in traffic today and the NOI (I think that's still the name of the organization) were handin out their papers. I never give them any dough because it supports their religion and i'm not a supporter of sumthin I don't believe in. He ended up giving the paper to me any way but we had about a 1 minute convo at the light. He was askin me to turn to a page to read about us gettin reparations. My first response to him was, "We gotta whole lotta shit to think about before we focus on reperations". And I could tell that it kinda took him bacc a little bit. he went on to explain how it could help us as a people and so on. I think if we just all got jobs that shit would help to.

Don't get me wrong, if everybody wanted to unite so we could get what we're owed I'm with it. I just think we need to focus on gettin our shit in order (i.e. issues with each other including gangs, finances, and shit like that) instead of waitin for some shit that we're "owed" that we prolly won't ever see.

What is yall outlook on this subject?
