Remember when swine flu was going to kill everybody?

:hmm:
How many rushed out for the "vaccine" and how much money did the drug companies make off of fear, lies and total bullshit. Don't be afraid of the turtle mumps or whatever "pandemic" they come up with next. :smh::smh:

Bird flu was going to kill us a few years ago, too:rolleyes:

H1N1 Swine Flu No Worse Than Seasonal Flu

Study Shows H1N1 Swine Flu Symptoms, Risk of Serious Illness No Worse Than Seasonal Flu
Sept. 7, 2010 -- In adults and children over age 6 months, the H1N1 swine flu was no more severe -- and posed no greater risk of serious disease -- than recent seasonal flu bugs.
The findings come from Edward A. Belongia, MD, and colleagues at Wisconsin's Marshfield Clinic, who have been tracking flu cases since 2007.
Because nearly everyone in the surrounding community gets their health care through Marshfield Clinic -- and because Belongia’s team has been carefully testing everyone who comes in with flu symptoms -- the researchers have an extraordinarily detailed record of how flu behaves each year.
When the 2009 H1N1 swine flu pandemic swept through their community, Belongia and colleagues kept on collecting data. This allowed them to compare the 2009 H1N1 swine flu pandemic to the 2007-2008 and 2008-2009 flu seasons.
The researchers identified 545 people who had the 2009 H1N1 swine flu, 221 people who had a different seasonal H1N1 flu bug during the 2008-2009 season, and 632 people who had the H3N2 flu during the 2007-2008 season.
Belongia and colleagues find that H1N1 swine flu wasn't unusually bad:

  • 1.5% of children with H1N1 swine flu were hospitalized, compared to 3.7% of children with seasonal H1N1 flu and to 3.1% of children with seasonal H3N2 flu.
  • 4% of adults with H1N1 swine flu were hospitalized, compared to 2.3% of those with seasonal H1N1 flu and to 4.5% of adults with seasonal H3N2 flu.
  • 2.5% of children with H1N1 swine flu had pneumonia, compared to 1.5% of children with seasonal H1N1 flu and to 2% of children with seasonal H3N2 flu.
  • 4% of adults with H1N1 swine flu had pneumonia, compared to 2.3% of those with seasonal H1N1 flu and to 1.1% of adults with seasonal H3N2 flu.
And people who got the H1N1 swine flu didn't feel any worse than people who got seasonal flu. When patients ranked the severity of their flu symptoms, those who had the H1N1 swine flu reported less severe illness than those who had either of the recent seasonal flu bugs.
None of the Belongia findings apply to children under age 6 months. That's because their study originally was designed to measure the effectiveness of seasonal flu vaccine, and kids under 6 months are too young to get this vaccine.
"We found that children were disproportionately affected by 2009 H1N1 [swine flu] infection, but the perceived severity of symptoms and risk of serious outcomes ... were not increased in children with 2009 H1N1 relative to seasonal influenza A viruses," Belongia and colleagues conclude.

You should always do your own research.

The regular influenza virus kills thousands each year, that is what you should be worried about, especially for young children, the elderly and people with compromised immune systems.

Bullshit will always be spread.

It's up to YOU to filter/find your way thru it.

they even making flu shot gift cards now
the real big drug dealers in action

I was just thinking about this as I walked through campus. They still got the hand sanitizing stations that they put up during the whole scare. I'm blessed that I didn't get sick or anything. That's all I care about.

People who ran and got vaccinated is going to turn into zombies aka I am legend status

Yes. And I kept doing what I was doing, didn't fall for it, didn't get sick then, and am not sick now. I hate it when your own government uses FUD = Fear Uncertainty Doubt, to control its people.

I think some of you are talking shit right now.

I know regular healthy people who were on bed rest for weeks, my boy couldnt even sit up to play video games. I got fam who work in hospitals, they told me nuff people with compromised immune systems caught it and died from it.

That flu was nothing to play with. I feel like whether or not the government overplayed it is irrelevant, since extreme caution was the best way to go. Ya'll know sick people in hospitals cost money right?

it was overly exaggerated, I've always been suspicious of those shots because aint shit for free, the government has a fee or tax for every fucking thing yet they want to give away free flu shots. I'll pass on that shit

i didnt even think of that one:lol:

The power of the media...;) Has the oil spill in the gulf lived up to the media gloom and doom predictions? I'm not saying it wasn't bad, but this was suppose to be "The President's Katrina"

You just made my point.

It was cheaper for the government to scare everyone into taking those shots than to foot the bill for all the uninsured people who would surely end up hospitalized.

Look, like I said that flu was at worst a killer and at best put you down cold for at least a week.

Caution was better the way I see it.

Nope, something didn't feel right about not only the media coverage and sensation which they created, but the availability of said vaccine for it. There was like 4 cases in the county with people who were swiney.

actually its not but people that think like that will make for fine test subjects

if i am working in a place where there are always going to be tons of sick people i would got and get the shot

if i was a teacher

if i worked in a hospital or a similar facility

or if i worked in a place where a lot of the workers would only stay home if they were literally dying.

how many people do you know who got it? I know one, and he was in Afghanistan when he got it... no big deal, just like regular flu. The whole point is that the H1N1 wasn't a big deal at all, but if you followed the news, you'd believe that death was almost certain if you didn't get the vaccine:smh::smh:... That shit was waaaaaayyyyy over hyped. Turns it out, it was a non issue.

nigga did you get a tax credit or tax stimulus for saying this crazy shit? the only fact was there was a illness and the treatment was forced upon the ignorant whom willingly accepted as always!! most people that get a simple flu shot get sick afterwards so why even bother getting the shot....oh yea, cause they said so!! wake up people!! :smh:
