Real talk..I've been using Android and have been happy..what makes IPhone special?

Seriously..what am I missing? My Evo from Sprint has been suiting me just fine, but what is it about this Iphone that makes people crazy, waiting in lines, etc.? I'm due for an upgrade--should I try it?

Can someone PLEASE explain it? I've only had Androids, so I don't know...
 
You are missing out on nothing. Im not dedicated to any os but i have had them all. Windows, blackberry., ios and android. To me android is the best because yoy can do so much with simple implementation. Don't get me wrong iOS is cool and its definitely a game changer but i feel more at home with android. I just traded my iPhone 4 for a htc Thunderbolt. I had/have a og motorola droid and i missed the ease of android when i went to ios.

It will change your life forever. You will never look at wireless communication the same way.
It's sleeker, sexier looking and has an infinite number of apps that you never even knew you needed.
I'm sure the battery life is better than the EVO's too. If you don't mind paying $120 plus/month for service on one phone, it's definitely worth taking a look at. :hmm:

Dis right here.........metropcs+android=:).........50 a month for up to date tech......while others pay 200!

well go buy one and compare and still shut the fuck up... I can tell you a million and one great things about a product but until you take the step towards owning and comparing you will never know.

it is only hype to you android fuck nuts... If android does fine by you then go about your business. I have said i dont care what my phone uses as long as it is never windows based again.

I think itunes plays a major part, I mean having software that organizes and plays music, podcast and more does alot for people.

But i'll probably say...

Quality
and easy to use

Well with the Slew of Divine threads and when Jagi had his reign....people are generally sick of Android or Iphone Threads. I think Brown Turd will get better reception from everyone here with his Win7 or win8 taking over thoughts.

But for the iPhone. Easy to use and the phones look nice with a billionny apps and iTunes.
and the Brand.

I pay $67/mo for an iPhone with unlimited data 1000 texts that I don't use and practically unlimited minutes.

I'm seeing the business execs mainly like the Blackberry Family while those who like the iPhones generally don't care for the Droids and those who like the Droids generally stay away from iPhones, this I believe is just a mild preference. I wish the Droid would have the feature where the camera can face the front as well as the back so that you can do video to video conferencing. I think the Bionic does it but I am not sure...I'm sticking with the droid.....smartphones have gone the way of automobiles, you just like how a particular company does things.

so you still need to take the other phones for a test drive to see what you really like.

Iphone changed the game and beyond all anyone says it the ease of use that allowed to be so sought after, you dont have to learn how to use an iphone everything is layed out there for you if it isnt there you can get an app for it. just that damn simple

My Android has never been hard to use, it's very simple. I've always thought (and assumed) Apple was more difficult. I'm going to stop by the Sprint store just to look at it out of curiousity, but I'll probably keep my EVO.

I am, but I hear all this HYPE about Iphones, people standing in line, etc. I just want to see what the hype is all about. I've never even looked at one before.

keep ya EVO... i have had both iphone and the android i got an android then an iphone and went back to android ..... ANDROID was much better OS for me and it has always been easy...also androids DO HAVE front facing camera..!!...diggit
didnt see too mcuh difference other than what u like.....androids have just as many apps if not more as an IPHONE free and otherwise....my choice ANDROID ...its basically gonna be your choice though
