Re: Do YOU Know a MALE Who Had Potential But Ended Up Being A HOODRAT

Not really.

There are those that I'm surprised can't do for themselves but they were like that in high school, male and female. Then there are those that were in a bad place and stayed there...

this topic was started on Bgol about females just wondering what experiences you ladies have had
Bgol thread

I know examples of both from my childhood, but the number of men significantly outweighs the number of women who messed up. I didn't bother posting in that thread because the men on BGOL think that they are perfect and the reasons why their lives are messed up all stem from the completely ruined black woman :dunno:

Come here girl and give me a hug...:D

Thank you for posting from a non-biased (skewed) perspective.

There are both men and women that have ended up like this, but like you, I don't normally tend to associate with said persons, so I don't really know any...

Birds of a feather...

I am a firm believer that people can change, (either for the better or worse), and sometimes we have those family members that we can't deny. The company you keep does NOT ALWAYS characterize yourself, but sometimes it does. Surround yourself with positivity and you will be positive and successful. If someone in your circle becomes negative, if ya'll like that, you can help them as much as possible- if they will take it. If they won't, there should be no reason for you to know a 'hoodrat' unless it was someone round the way. (I'm rambling a little bit, I'm sleepy as all get out.)

I always wonder these people who do know hoodrats intimately, what are you doing to better yourself? If you aren't related to the rat, why do you continue to hang around them or cross paths? What have you done today to uplift and change?

Just wondering...

That's not true. Because i'm sure you (most people period have) have or currently have a friend that is friends with your enemy. And men usually can be ok with that.

Now your friend and your enemy dont have the same "feather" because if so ya'll all would be flocking together.
