Hot water on brush first to sterilize, then toothpaste.

Bacteria gathers on a wet toothbrush pretty fast, gotta run hot water over it at least 10 to 20 seconds.

1 is the only answer for healthy cats.

i get that, but the pic looks like they put water on the brush, then the toothpaste and then water again, all before brushing. I rinse the brush after i am done brushing.
