Rajon Rondo: All-Star?

Given how this guy has been helping the Celtics keep that streak going and being on to the top steals/assists/FG% leaders in the NBA - Does he deserve to a All-Star?

Not b4 Devon Harris. I think him making it depends on whether Dwayne Wade goes as a point or a 2 guard and whether Paul Pierce gets elected as a 2 or 3. Because IMO, Harris should be a lock. And Mike Bibby has a strong case as well. And if TJ Ford can manage to stay on the court, he might make a little noise as well. And don't forget ya boi Iverson. So if Pierce and Wade are both elected as the 2 guards (along with Vince Carter), then maybe only 2 or 3 more will be elected as the points. And one of those is sure to be Iverson

Shooting Guards:
Vince Carter
Paul Pierce (maybe)
Joe Johnson
Dwayne Wade

Point guards:
Allen Iverson (grrrrr!)
Devon Harris
Mike Bibby

that's 6 or 7 guards already and that doesn't include the obligatory euros that will get consdieration in Faulk's NBA. So even though he might deserve it, the only way he'll get in is if he's voted in, or if Doc selects him as a reserve

 @ Yi. Now we know why the Nets traded for him. Muthafukkas in CHINA voting for his ass cause you know he ain't getting any american votes

Not a big Bibby fan, but I think it would be a travesty if he doesn't finish higher than Luke Ridenour

I have seen most of the Celts games this year. Before the season started,I never would have thought so...but yes he does belong on the all-star team.

This year,he has taken over so many games by himself....I know every team is leaning on the Big 3,which frees him up...but he has produced. If he was on the Clips...or a another bad team,he might not be able to function like he has,but....

If the Celts had one of those other points...they would not be as good a team.
Rondo just fits with them...

Think the Celts would be as good with Iverson or Bibby on the team???

No because as much as I like Iverson, he is not a PG...At least not like Rondo, Billups, or Paul...He is more of a SG than anything and has been like that his whole career. That's why as of this moment, the Pistons aren't doing as well as expected, esp. Rip because his whole offensive game has been changed with the addition of Iverson. The same case would be true if he was with the Celtics. They would have to trade either Allen or Pierce because there would be no way that the offense that Boston runs now would be the same with AI in the lineup.

Bibby may have an easier time to adjust to the team because he didn't require to have the ball as much as AI did, so he may be able to fit in Boston, but you wouldn't have as much youth on the lineup with him. Rondo can change the pace of the game with his speed on both sides of the ball (one on one guarding) while Bibby may not have as much success...

As far as the All-Star voting is concerned, I know the Yi Jianlian thing is strange, but why is Gilbert Arenas on the ballot?

...and Devin Harris will get in as a reserve
