I didn't even see anything about Perkins on any of the local Newscasts. But I tend not to watch much local News at the moment. I'm still ANGRY about how The Media is treating the Jordan Neely Murder.

Perkins was a force in this City.
But He never got much notice for His role regarding various issues here.
Especially regarding Tenants' Rights.
And the Lead Paint problem facing Tenants with Children here.
Which decades later, is still a major issue in so-called Low-Income areas in this City.

Had the honor to meet him through the great ms Bobbi Humphrey. The conversations and history I learned about Harlem and what their era was like will stay with me forever
