I must have been aproached by every "pyramid scheme" out there (Quixstar, PrePaid Legal, ACS, Primerica). I thought I would come to bgol and ask some simple questions. Has anyone been succesful at any of them? I don't want to hear about people you know of in the business - I would like to hear it from you directly... What kind of "risidual" income do you make? How long have you done it?
 
Just my opinion, it seems they hire or have on payroll motivational speakers. I went to one Quixstar meeting and this guy was talkin bout he is a millionaire and all the people associated with Quixstar are millionaires. This was like 6 years ago. Quixstar was supposed to be the next Microsoft. They claimed Bill Gates had money invested in the company. All bullshit.

If you wanna do something maybe get a Real Estate License. If you dont make money you will learn something.
 
I totally agree man. I went to several of these seminars. Everyone is juiced up on it to the point that they seem brain washed. My expectation is this post will get some 1000+ views without one person stating they have made substantial income.
 
Did Pre-paid for about two & a half years with my parents & a couple others. After about 16 months in I was doing about 2k/mo passive income, my parents were doing the same, and to this day they get a $150 check every three months & they havent been active since jan of 04. Learned a lot from that business, & made a lot of business connects that I use to this day from that experience. One person in my organization was actually hired by Pre-paid in a corporate position. These businesses are legitimate, but they're not for people with a short term mindset, or who are looking for get rich quick.

So are you saying you still get that passive income (2k/mo)? Also, when you say you did it for 2 years - what did that entail (meetings, going up to people)? My last question, why stop?

& to answer question, I no longer get the 2k residually, down 2 a hundred here & there, & yes I was doing the whole 9, meetings, travelling, team building, in home presentations. I stopped in the beginning of 04 because didn't see me getting over the hump. The executive director hump that is. I've heard the comp plan has changed since, but back then maintaining ED was a mutha.
 
Well I got involve with WorldVentures on Dec 06 and it has been doing wonders for me. I haven't receive any residual Income but I have been receiving a check every week from doing the business. on average I make about 500 extra a month. In the next couple of month I will start receiving some of that residual income.. So you see, these businesses are for real and it's not for everyone. you just have to find something that you like and enjoy doing especially something that you can use then you will be successful doing it. you can visit my site to see what WorldVentures is..
