Two reasons why I'd want to decode Craigslist email addresses from the encoded versions on the website:
1. In case I'm posting a resume to a company I'm currently working for. I'd rather know who they are before advertising I'm moving on to another client (or actively engaged in seeking additional work)
2. To generate a mailing list for targeted email campaigns (not spam, think emailing all companies that posted on C/L seeking graphic design service in the last month)

...but definitely not looking to install random shit on my computer.
