Question for the parents. Especially those with daughters...

What would you do if this was your daughter in this situation?

OK...I have a homeboy that I grew up with..he's 25 now. He meets a chick at a 21+ club and they end up linking up. They started talkin and chillin...and eventually fuckin. Chick ends up pregnant..this is where the problems start. As far as he knows the chick is 22...but he gets a call on his cell while he's at work from the chicks mom...who reveals to him she's actually 16 and she's going to press charges against him. (The legal age of consent in GA is 16 so she wouldn't have been able to do that anyway.)

He left work and went to her crib and basically listened to the girls mom cuss him out every way she could think of lol. He told her mom he actually met her in a 21+ club and she told him she was 22...even had a fake ID. I guess mom calmed down long enough to ask her was it true and the girl actually admitted to it and showed her the ID. Mom proceeds to beat the shit out of the daughter and tells my boy she won't press charges since she deceived him. The broad was so slick that she knew what times her mom was going to call and she would forward the house calls to her cellphone just so it would look like she was at home.

I know some will wonder how he didnt know...honestly i've seen the chick and if I saw her in a club I probably would've done the same thing..which is scary. How was the girl going to the club? Well I already pointed out the fake ID, but on top of that her moms worked 3rd shift..she's a single mom and she's an EMT so I guess she has to do what she has to do.

OK..chick had the kid and he provides...but this is where MY issue with the situation comes in at. He obviously has feelings for the chick and even though he won't admit it I know he wants to be with her. And now the momma is actually cool with him being around mainly because of the situation with the kid. It's fucked up either way around but I told him I think he should just provide for it and leave the chick alone...but with her being all in love with him and shit if he tries to break it off with her he has all kinda drama on his hands.

So what do u do?

I keep tryin to tell him I understand the situation and I KNOW he wants to be there but the shit really just isn't worth it. I think he just knows if he stops fuckin with her that YOUTH is going to start to show. She already expects to see him ANYTIME he's not at work.

Honestly I can say some similar shit almost happened to me. ATL heads remember back when Club NV used to be jumpin over there on Spring Street downtown. It was 18+ and I ended up gettin up with a chick I met in there. (I was 19 at the time). She lived in Decatur and I used to go pick the chick up from her house and all and her moms never said shit and I KNOW she knew how old I was. Come to find out chick was 16...even though it was only 3 years so it wasn't that bad but hell....she told me she was 18. Believe me...it's not as hard to get jammed up as some may think...especially when you have flea markets around ATL making fake IDs that are basically IDENTICAL to driver licenses....decals and all.

Yes...that's pretty much the situation. But it's not one of those "ghetto hood" type situations though. I mean they live in a NICE neighborhood..mom has a good ass job and provides for her kids. She has another daughter that went off to college last year and I think that's when the problems started since she wasnt there to watch over the younger one.

You said he has feelings for the broad and wants to be with her, he had to have known her for at least 4-5 months before he found out her age and liked her personality or whatever so that age part is no biggie to him. It seems you have more of a problem with the situation than he does and since it really has no affect on your life i say just warn him and leave it at that, he's 25 so i'm sure he's been thru the fire with women before.

His mom had met the chick, but under the same assumption on the age difference. I think she found out the same time he did though. As far as I know she told him to just raise the child and leave that "baby" alone. lol

I pretty much told him what i'd do. I mean I just couldn't see myself about to turn 26 and gotta go pick my ol lady up from school at 3. But I mean hey...

Thats what I based my advice on. He isnt running any chance of statutory charges, the mom is ok with his relationship, and she's obviously feeling grown enough to try and blend in with 20-something year old women, so fuck it.

He will be raising a kid with that sixteen year old until she gets to be in her mid-30s. If he's lucky he can mold that young woman into a wife.

If not, he can at least get some angles on her until she starts trippin' on him down the line.
