Like many of you know, I am 35, single. I just don't go out anymore. Clubs bore me, I'm too old to chase a woman, I go to church, and just rest. Sometimes I have company over, whether it be females or the fellas. I just ain't into gettin dressed up, and goin. Too old for that shit !

I don't fuck with it like that anymore either. Gas too goddamn high, parking too goddamn high, line too goddamn long, women too goddamn stuck up. 
Money changes most of that, but if I'm gonna throw money around for the CHANCE of having a good time I might as well pay a hooker.

When I'm close to my girls we go out a lot. OUt to new restaurants, to 25 & older clubs, lounges, black shows. There's so much to do and it's really more about each other's company than actually going out because we can chill over each other's places too.
I will do comedy shows and nice jazz spots. I am tired of kicking it at bars and clubs. It seems like in Cleveland,someone is always getting shot or beat up. I don't want have to worry about dodging bullets
Im 28 and to tell you the truth I haven't been out to the clubs since Thanksgiving of last year, clubs just don't do it for me anymore!

Yeah I feel most of y'all....You gotta transition...........I used to be out 3 nights a week doing different things, but when you own a home and work 5 days and there really anything out there to chase, it's definitely not worth the effort. Me and wifey WILL be at Supercat and Junior Reid next week at the Atrium tho'.
38...will be 39 this Tuesday...I only go out if I have to and sometimes when I am invited, like last nite...My Spin Class instructor had a birthday and she invited me out to the East Village, so I bounced. Two reason: I have been home alot working on a film and needed to get some night air and two: This chick reminds me of Salli Richardson.
But on a reg, nah. Dem days is over for now. Simply because I have been there and down that. New York still has an allure for me, but it is more of appreciation thing then anything else. Not that I gotta be out there and I got something to prove.
Plus, cats do not know how to party anymore. They think that power drinking and getting sloppy is fun.

Most women over 35 are boring. They have the mind set that they need to be entertained and chased when they were younger and when their youthfulness wore out, they discovered they had nothing that attracted men other than their youthfulness. They are now in competition with younger women, at least for looks. I have my hobbies and I like to ride my mountain bike. Try and find Black women that doesn’t mind sweating and getting dirty.
I only go out to social house gatherings, event parties, and galas where wine and food is served. Great places to meet like-minded persons w/ interesting vibes and personalities.

I will be going out next weekend with CIAA Tournament is going on. Otherwise, I'm either going to concerts/live music shows and/or out with friends and friends of friends. We used to have this saying back home: "same hoes, different clothes." I'm not that big a drinker either, so it's another reason why the clubbing, etc. isn't my thing...

Well I'm 29 now and I tend to only go out for special events like a friends birthday or something like that ... maybe like 5-6 times a year ... I wont go to a club just cause it's Friday night ... but I've pretty much always been like that ... even as a teenager I only went out every couple of months
Well I'm 22 and I hardly ever go out to the clubs. . . I was never much of partier at all and I don't drink either. If I do go out. . it's to dinner, or a movie, or to a comedy show as others mentioned. I've always been more a movie night type of a person.
I do date older sometimes. . . but all younger women are not about "being fucked like a hoe" or "lack substance". . I agree some do. But maybe I'm an exception.

Godspeed my good man.I don't go out half as much as I used to. From 18-23 my ass was out at least every other week. Clubbing was fun back then; people actually danced and had fun, a peaceful vibe the whole night. Lately people out here are on some fronting nonsense, and I can't be bothered. Why get all dressed up, spend money to get in to primp and pose and hold the walls up. Or fight. If I do go out it's to a laid back lounge, or I'm hanging out with a large group of friends playing Taboo, cooking, and sipping on riesling.

Maybe I'm in the minorty, but I think a club is never a good place to meet women. Clubs are loud and counterproductive to conversation. Now if I want to dance...maybe, but I'm more of a homebody to begin with.
I had my ideal night out last night. I went over to a female friend's house and participated in what her and her roomates call game night. There is plenty of liquor flowing, socializing, and board games like Scrabble, Boggle, Taboo, etc. It's good fun and a great place to meet people.

I like going out and meeting new women, but if I'm taken, don't need to be clubbin' and I only do the Lounges, they are much more relaxed and I can look good without having to bare the fucking cigarette/weed smoke that lingers in the place

Nah, I'm 33 and I hit that point at around 25-26. I think it's normal for an adult to just outgrow that stage. Every now and then I like to go with my girl for a little while dance, have a few drinks and be out. Every time I go up in there: Crowded, people trying to squeeze past you, expensive ass drinks, etc. I realized why I stopped going on the regular. I will go to a lounge more frequently though. You just get to a point where you want to sit your ass down and spend a quiet night with close friends.
I remember when I started getting tired of all that bullshit too. I went out for this PR chick I'm still kinda close with's birthday. Everybody was dressed up, doin shots, dancing, just doing what we did. We were at the bar about to do some more shots when she leaned over and said "I'm sick." I took her outside and around the corner and she started throwing up, until she was throwing up water. She was half naked and it was winter so I threw my coat around her. She threw up some more. Then I noticed that shit splattered on my new cream Stacy Adams joints and this chick had puke on my leather. Before I would've laughed that shit off, but I actually felt embarrased and realized somebody got drunk like that every weekend.....and it was wack. Because I was the only one that gave a fuck and this chick wanted to go back in and keep clubbin'! I started to fall back after that.
