What's good BGOL fam?

I have a job at a steel plant and I work nights and I have A LOT of fuck off time every night to surf BGOL and just chill out.

I recently obtained the password to the company WIFI router and now I can log into the company router and surf at lightning speeds on my phone, tablet and laptop but when I tried to log onto BGOL, their Barracuda Web Filter won't let me log on to sites like BGOL because it is flagged as a porn site.

Here is a screen cap of the message...

So, a couple questions...

1. Is there some type of program or something I can run that will allow me to access sites like this and they not know that someone is watching porn using their internet?

2. Can they see ALL of the sites that I go to and how long I'm logged on?

3. Will they get a notification that someone tried accessing BGOL last night?

4. Does any of you successfully bootleg off of your company's WIFI without their knowing it?

Thanks for any input!

Are you joking? Just to be clear, it isn't worth risking your job to browse bgol on the company network. Use your phone and mobile data if you need to see bgol that badly.

Unfortunately, I don't have any tips on how to use their network, but bypass their rules without you being able to login to the interface and change how filtering is done. If whomever set that filtering device up knows the basics of security, they would have changed the password to login. However, in case they haven't, enter "admin" for the username and "admin" for the password. If you can get in and you feel like being brave, see if you can disable the filter or change the settings on what is blocked.

I don't think you have to worry about notifications. I setup firewalls and content filtering for small businesses. They usually aren't looking to be notified that someone tried to browse a blocked website. They just want to make sure nothing they consider a problem is accessed from their network and that nothing terrible gets into the network. Without knowing what the barracuda web filter interface looks like and how it records or stores info, but based on experience with similar equipment, it will likely record in the logs that a particular site was accessed, likely by recording the IP Address of the site, instead of the name of the website. However, unless the logs are set to be retained for several days or beyond, the activity will eventually be erased from the logs. Don't mess around and give them a reason to actually start checking the logs and trying to figure out who is accessing what. If they have reason to, they can likely keep a longer log and then eventually figure out who is accessing certain sites.

Brother CottonMouf first things FIRST!!!

Please make sure your devices are not named with anything that can be traced back to you. For example at my jobs all iPhone are named with our usernames. Instead of My iPhone it's named Doe Moe iPhone.

Second how many other people are working/using WiFi at the time you're at the plant? I ask this because the network admin can by process of elimination determine who it is even if the device is not using your name. If only 5 guys are working, how many times does the same device MAC address appear in the logs with connectivity. You see where I'm going with this.

You need something that will mask your connectivity. I know of a guy who hid his own WiFi router at the job it basically was the go between for his device and the jobs WiFi. Of course he was using NAT on his router to further mask his device from the jobs WiFi.

Good look family!

If you got a really good job, the pay is well, you got time in plus decent benefits.

My best advice as an IT professional with 20+ years experience, just get a WiFi hotspot most carriers have them shits for a decent monthly price.

If reception at your job is good (LTE) then beef of your phones plan and just use that.

It's all yours, no worries of your job tracking or tracing, no website restrictions and most of all, you have TOTAL peace of mind.

Well as An 30 year IT vet I can tell you that even mid size companies can track everything you do on the corporate network if they want. Most companies are content with blocking inappropriate sites. One thing you could try is a VPN service but some companies are blocking VPN access these days. Always remember anytime you use corporate resources for non business activities you have already violated their policies. Most companies have rules governing how their corporate computing assets can be used and while most acknowledge and accept some non corporate business on their systems such as reading personal email from sites like Yahoo or Gmail doing others things like watching Netflix or Amazon prime might be frowned upon.

Like others have already said stick to Your LTE plan.

You don't want to be that nigga that go home and be like "they laid me off"...when in fact you got popped looking at porn and word gets around the office you got popped looking aat porn. And then you run into old co-workers and you got that fucking boo boo face. "What happened?" and you'll be like "I came in late too many times"
